Cobb Work Source Center - The Ribbon Has Been Cut!

What an incredible day! 🙌 With over 100 attendees—including Chairwoman Lisa Cupid, Commissioner Monique Sheffield, Mayor Michael Owens, and other local and state elected officials—we celebrated the Ribbon Cutting and Grand Opening of the Cobb WorkSource Center in Mableton. Special thanks to Senator John Ossoff's office, Deputy Treasurer Wally Adeyemo, and Senator Raphael Warnock for their support in marking this significant moment.

We also want to give a special shoutout to CobbLinc for providing transportation, ensuring that attendees could join us for this special occasion. Your support helped make the day even more accessible and impactful! 🚍👏

This milestone underscores the vital role workforce development plays in our community, and we are beyond grateful for everyone who joined us to celebrate. A heartfelt thank you to our Board of Directors, our incredible construction and design partners MAPP Construction and PGAL Architecture, and the local, state, and community leaders who helped bring this vision to life.

Thanks to investments from Cobb County ARPA, CDBG, and private sources, this center is designed to empower and serve over 10,000 residents annually, providing critical resources to job seekers and employers alike.
