The 2024 Graduation Ceremony was a resounding success, celebrating the remarkable achievements of our high school diploma, GED, and PowerUp pre-apprenticeship students. The event was filled with joy as students were cheered on by family, friends, and educators who supported them throughout their journeys. Inspirational speeches were made by Dr. Brittney Bridges, Executive Director of Innovative Practices at Marietta City Schools, and GED student Treavon Coley, who shared his personal experience of overcoming challenges and persevering. Lisa Cupid, Commission Chairwoman, also shared words of wisdom. These speeches highlighted the hard work, dedication, and perseverance each graduate demonstrated to reach this significant milestone. The ceremony concluded with a sense of accomplishment and excitement for the future, as graduates are now equipped with the knowledge and skills to embark on new and promising pathways.
